Depending on the purpose of your visit - whether for tourism, business or study - you may need a visa to enter the country. This section provides all the information you need to know about the Colombia visa process, including visa types, requirements, and the application process. However, for many travelers from different countries, a visa is not required, making travel arrangements much easier.

There are several types of visas in Colombia, each with its own specifics and requirements. First, you should decide which type of visa is appropriate for your trip. An important aspect is also the validity of the visa and the length of stay, which may vary depending on the type of visa and your purpose of travel.

Keep in mind that regulations can change, so it is recommended to check the current visa requirements for Colombia before traveling. This will avoid unpleasant situations and make your trip as comfortable as possible. Here you will find all the necessary information about visas to the country.

According to Colombian law, all passengers arriving in the country by air are required to issue a Check-Mig at least 24 hours prior to their arrival. This rule also applies when departing from Colombia. Check MIG (Migración Colombia) is a border control system developed by the Colombian government to regulate the entry and exit of travelers into the country. This authorization is not a visa to enter Colombia.
