Visas for media professionals in Thailand

Media professionals traveling to the Southeast Asian country for professional reasons require a media visa for Thailand, often also referred to as a journalist visa. This primarily includes foreign journalists who are conducting research or reporting on location. However, film producers who choose Thailand's dreamlike landscape as a backdrop are also required to apply for the "M" visa for media production before traveling. It is one of the non-immigrant visas for Thailand. Entry with a tourist visa is not permitted for this group of people.
