For digital nomads, remote workers, foreign talent and freelancers:
- Completed application form.
- Photo on a white background.
- Passport with at least 6 months validity.
- Financial proof: an amount of at least 500,000 Baht in the last 3 months (e.g. bank statements, payslips, sponsorship letters).
- Professional portfolio demonstrating status as a digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer.
- For the self-employed, a certificate of business start-up.
Candidates who are self-supporting must be over 20 years of age. There should be no history of long term violations of the Thai immigration timelines. Additional documents may also be required depending on your nationality.
For activities related to Thai culture such as:
Muay Thai, Thai Cuisine, Education and Seminars, Sports, Medical Treatment, Foreign Talent, Art and Music Events, the following documents are required:
- Completed application form.
- Photo on a white background
- Passport with validity of at least 6 months
- Financial proof: at least 500,000 Baht in the last 3 months, such as bank statements, payslips, sponsorship letter
- Admission letter from an institute or event organizing company or referral from a hospital/medical center
For minors under 20 years of age, additional documents are required:
- Document proving current whereabouts.
- Financial proof: amount of at least 500,000 Baht in the last 3 months, e.g. bank statements, payslips, sponsorship letter.
- DTV Visa Holder's DTV Visa. Personal details of the DTV visa holder (e.g. valid government-issued ID card, passport biographical data page and DTV visa endorsement of the DTV visa holder)
- Proof of relationship to the DTV visa holder, e.g. copy of marriage certificate, birth certificate, adoption certificate.
- Proof of long-term residence in Thailand for at least 6 months, e.g. condominium rental agreement, lease agreement, etc.
- Copy of DTV's main payroll/monthly income for the last 6 months.
For spouses and children under 20 years of age of DTV visa holders:
- Copy of birth certificate or adoption certificate.
- Copy of the parent's marriage certificate; in case of sole custody, a notarized copy of the court order must be provided.
- Copy of the passport or ID of the mother and father/legal guardian.
- Original notarized consent for the minor to travel abroad from the mother and father/legal guardian, if the applicant is traveling alone.
All documents in German or any third language must be translated into English and notarized.
