FAQ about the Pakistan Visa

Frequently Asked Questions about Visa Procurement for Pakistan

If you are traveling to Pakistan and have questions about the visa application, you can find the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) about the visa for Pakistan below. If you still have any uncertainties, feel free to contact us by phone or email.

Do children need a passport and a visa?

Yes, all travelers - including children and infants - need a passport and a valid entry permit. Child passports and provisional passports are acceptable. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon departure or visa expiration.

How much does my visa for Pakistan cost if I obtain it through König Tours?

You can see the cost of your Pakistan visa with us listed clearly before placing your order. Prices are composed of: visa type, entry type, processing time, consulate fee, and our service fee.

How long does it take to process my order?

Our processing times are approximately 15 or optionally 10 working days. Please note that faster processing incurs higher fees. Our estimated processing time is conditional on us receiving your application documents complete and correct. Delays in shipping should be taken into account. Furthermore, we would like to point out that the decision on visa issuance lies solely with the Pakistani embassy. In exceptional cases, longer waiting times may occur. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this. Please apply for your visa well in advance of your trip!

Does it matter which federal state I come from when ordering a visa from you?

Yes, we handle visa procurement for applicants from all over Germany, even if the Pakistani embassy in Berlin and the consulate general in Frankfurt a. M. have different jurisdictions.

I am not a German citizen - can you obtain a visa for me?

If you present a residence permit or residence authorization for Germany, you have the opportunity to apply for your visa for Pakistan at the Pakistani consular departments in Germany. We are happy to take care of the bureaucratic processes for you. Please send us the above-mentioned proof along with the other application documents.

I am planning to enter by land? What should I consider?

Visitors entering by land should provide the responsible consulate with a detailed written itinerary. In exceptional cases, confirmations from Pakistani authorities are required, which can delay visa issuance by several weeks or months. For information on regulations when importing your own vehicle, please inquire directly at the Embassy of Pakistan.

Are there any health precautions or requirements to consider when traveling to Pakistan?

Travelers entering directly from Germany do not have vaccination requirements. However, if you have been in a yellow fever area beforehand, proof of yellow fever vaccination in the form of a valid entry in the international vaccination record is required. The Foreign Office recommends that travelers consult the vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute. Check your vaccination record in time and seek advice from your doctor.
