Bahrain Visa

Visa service for the destination Bahrain

Bahrain is a state consisting of 33 islands. They are located in the bay of the Persian Gulf, east of Saudi Arabia. As a stopover, for example on a journey to China, the island state is very popular. We are happy to apply for a visa for Bahrain before the trip for all travelers who are eligible for the country's e-visa issuance process as an accredited visa agency. This includes citizens of all EU countries as well as nationals of Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and the Russian Federation. It is wonderful for a vacation or a visit to the Formula 1 race in Bahrain. In addition, it is permissible for other leisure activities and business trips, e.g. for participating in conferences or negotiations.

The Online Visa for Bahrain is valid for a maximum of 30 days from the date of issuance and allows for multiple entries. The visa validity indicates the period during which entry is permitted before the visa becomes invalid. The maximum length of stay is 7 or 14 days. An exception is made for British and Irish citizens who are allowed a visit for tourism purposes for up to 3 months. The day of entry into Bahrain counts as the 1st day of stay. Required Documents for Bahrain

In order to process the visa applications for you, we need a copy of your passport. As a visitor, you are required to provide confirmed return or onward flight tickets along with sufficient funds for your stay in Bahrain. To learn more about the required documents and entry requirements, please navigate to the Entry requirements or the individual categories for a visa from the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Bahraini immigration authorities differentiate visas based on seven characteristics:

  • Purpose of travel: (e.g. tourist visa, business visa, work visa, private visa, transit visa, etc.)
  • Sponsor: In many cases, an invitation and guarantee from a Bahraini host (e.g. company, hotel, travel agency) are required as visa support. Depending on nationality and purpose of travel, there are also non-sponsored visas. In this case, travelers themselves are responsible for ensuring adequate funding for their stay. In the case of e-visas for tourist and business purposes, no sponsor is required.
  • Standard visa or online visa for Bahrain: A standard visa is recorded as an endorsement in the visitor's passport, e.g. in the form of a sticker or stamp. The e-visa is paperless. The immigration authorities at the border already have the travelers' personal data.
  • Single and multiple entry: Visas for multiple entries are not available to all applicants. Those eligible for the online visa process usually receive a multiple entry visa when needed.
  • Place of issue: There are four ways of issuance depending on the purpose of travel and nationality: Internet (e-visa), Visa On Arrival, Visa issuance by a consular department, Visa procurement by a sponsor.
