Online visa for tourist visits in the island state of Bahrain
The fee-based eVisa Bahrain Tourism, also known as a tourist visa or visitor visa, can be applied for online through the English-language website of the Bahraini Ministry of Interior before the trip. The application process takes up to 72 hours. Applicants will receive an email once the decision on visa approval has been made. Paperless Entry
It is recommended to carry a printout of the visa confirmation, however, this is explicitly not required according to the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Visitor eVisas are completely paperless, meaning that the traveler's personal data is already digitally available to the border officials. Foreign visitors only need the passport with which they applied for the authorization.

Visa validity and length of stay
The online tourist visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and allows for multiple entries. Visa validity refers to the period during which entry is possible before the visa expires. The maximum length of stay is 7 or 14 days. An exception is made for British and Irish nationals, who are allowed a tourist visit of up to 3 months. The day of arrival in Bahrain counts as the 1st day of stay. A one-time extension of the visa for 2 weeks is usually possible on-site. The contact point is the "Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs" department (NPRA) of the Bahraini Ministry of Interior.
