eVisa: Business Visa Bahrain

The Business Visa Bahrain for business trips is available as an e-Visa. It can be applied for on the website of the Bahraini Ministry of Interior before the trip. The online application form is translated into English. There is no German version available. The business visa allows you, for example, to participate in conferences, exhibitions, or business meetings.

Visa issuance usually takes place within 72 hours. The Business e-Visa Bahrain is a paperless visa. Applicants will receive a confirmation by email once the immigration authorities have approved the visa application. Upon arrival in Bahrain, the border officials have the travelers' data digitally available.

With an application number, the status of the visa can be checked online. Only in exceptional cases is an application rejected. In this case, a Bahraini diplomatic mission should be contacted.

The Business Visa Bahrain as an e-Visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Within this period, the visitor is allowed multiple entries into Bahrain. The maximum length of stay is either 7 or 14 days in total. Only citizens of Great Britain and Ireland are allowed to stay for up to 3 months. In general, the visa can be extended once on-site for an additional 2 weeks. The visa extension must be requested in a timely manner from the NPRA department of the Ministry of Interior (Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs) in Bahrain.

• Your purpose of travel is business, but you do not plan to engage in employment in Bahrain that requires a work permit.
• You are not in Bahrain at the time of application.
• Your passport has a validity of at least 6 months on the day of planned arrival in Bahrain.
• You have a confirmed ticket for return travel or alternatively your onward travel to a third country.
• You have sufficient funds to finance your stay and can demonstrate this upon request at the border.
• You are not a holder of a visa for Bahrain.
