Traveling in Kyrgyzstan
The highlight of a trip through Kyrgyzstan is a visit to the picturesque Issyk-Kul Lake. Also known as Yssykköl in the German language, the lake is the second largest mountain lake in the world and offers a breathtaking natural panorama. Kyrgyzstan is particularly suitable for trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers, who should visit the Tianshan Mountains in Kyrgyzstan. The mountains reign majestically over Kyrgyzstan with a height of over 7,000 meters and are home to the strictly protected and very rare snow leopards.
