Kyrgyzstan visa for holiday travel
German, Austrian and Swiss citizens, as well as nationals of more than 40 other countries, do not require a visa for tourist visits to Kyrgyzstan for a maximum stay of 60 days. For trips exceeding 60 days, an entry permit must be obtained in advance from the Kyrgyz consulate in Germany.

If you are not visa-exempt and live in Germany or plan a longer stay in Kyrgyzstan, König Tours will gladly assist you in obtaining a tourist visa. Please send us a written request (email) stating the expected travel dates or a brief description of your travel plans by email. The following documents are required for the visa application. The consular office may request additional documents.
- Passport in original, valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of the trip
- Visa application, filled out and signed
- Passport photo in the format 3.5 x 4.5 cm

The Kyrgyz Embassy generally distinguishes the following types of tourist visas:
- single entry
- double entry
- multiple entry
You are allowed to stay in the country visa-free for up to 60 days with any of the three mentioned visas.
Information for Travelers
All foreign visitors receive an entry stamp in their passport at the Kyrgyz border, regardless of the planned duration of their stay. Officials will check for the presence of the stamp upon departure. Therefore, tourists are advised to make sure they receive such a note upon arrival. Please also note that there is a registration requirement in Kyrgyzstan: starting from the 61st day of stay! The relevant registration office is the OVIR at the local police station at the place of residence.
