New entry rules for Indonesia: Health Pass becomes mandatory for air travelers
Attention travelers: from the end of August 2024, Indonesia is introducing a new requirement for all air arrivals. In order to prevent the spread of monkeypox (Mpox), the country's authorities are requiring travelers to fill out an online health questionnaire.
What you need to know:
- Health Pass is filled out on the official portal of the Indonesian Ministry of Health
- Available languages: English and French
- Deadline for completion: at least 48 hours prior to entry
- Result: QR code to be presented at passport control
Tourists are strongly advised to fill in the application form in advance. Otherwise, they will have to go through the procedure directly at the airport, which will significantly delay the process of entering the country.
There is currently no information on the application of such measures to passengers on maritime transportation, including cruise ships.
Be aware and plan your travel to Indonesia with the new requirements in mind for a comfortable and smooth entry into the country.
