Business Visa Saudi Arabia

The Business Visa Saudi Arabia (German: Business Visa) is required if you intend to visit a Saudi company on behalf of your employer. It is exclusively for business travel purposes, such as participating in business negotiations or meetings. Working on-site is strictly prohibited. The Business Visa for Saudi Arabia is also known as a "Commercial Visit Visa".

Before submitting the visa application, you need a sponsor from Saudi Arabia. This is usually the inviting company. The host submits a written visa request on the website of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and legalizes a copy of the application at the Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia. The Chamber of Commerce then electronically provides a reference number to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the certification is completed.

Once these steps have been completed and you have compiled all other application documents, you can submit your application to a competent consular service. An appointment is required for this. The application can only be submitted in person. Biometric data is usually collected during the personal appearance. This includes taking fingerprints or an iris scan.

Note: Those working for a foreign company that is not registered with the German Chamber of Commerce will not receive a Business Visa for Saudi Arabia in Germany.

• Procurement of the IHK certification: For this, we need the original dispatch letter from your company. Please make sure it is signed in blue ballpoint pen or blue ink and includes the company's commercial register number.
• Review of the application documents for completeness and compliance with formal requirements: In this case, we need copies of your entire document package (by email).
• Handling the time-consuming appointment scheduling at the visa service provider in Berlin or Frankfurt am Main. To schedule an appointment, copies of all application documents are also required.

We work with the consular service VFS Tasheel. Please note that VFS Tasheel in Berlin only processes invitations or reference numbers issued in Berlin. In Frankfurt am Main, invitation letters addressed to Berlin or Frankfurt are also valid. A visa application for the 'Commercial Visit Visa' is only possible if you currently do not have a valid visa for Saudi Arabia.

The validity of the Business Visa for Saudi Arabia is determined by the Saudi consulates on a case-by-case basis and depending on the invitation letter. Business visas are usually valid for 90 days from the date of issue, which means that a single or multiple entries are allowed during this period. The maximum length of stay is usually between 7 and 14 days.
