Financial requirements for obtaining a pension visa
For both non-immigrant visas (O and OA), foreign nationals must provide proof of financial means, which may include a certain amount of assets or sufficient retirement income.
One of the following conditions must be met:
- A bank deposit of at least 800,000 baht (or the equivalent in euros, approximately 22,700 euros);
- Monthly income of at least 65,000 baht (or equivalent in euros, about 1,840 euros);
- A combination of a monthly income of 65,000 baht and a bank deposit of 800,000 baht.
