Visa issues are an integral part of any travel or business trip abroad. They require special attention and advance preparation to ensure a safe border crossing.

Citizens of some countries, particularly the United States, do not need an entry visa to Puerto Rico, as the island is an unincorporated territory of the United States.

For citizens of other countries, there may be some restrictions and requirements. The Puerto Rico visa application procedure does not require much effort and does not take much time. According to visa policy, many foreign nationals who are exempted from visas only need to obtain an approved US ESTA to enter Puerto Rico without a visa.
