Duty-free importation of up to 2 blocks (40 packs) of cigarettes or 50 cigars/cigarillos and up to 3 liters of alcoholic beverages for personal use is permitted.

It is allowed to take out of Ecuador duty free up to 1 block (20 packs) of cigarettes or 25 cigars/cigarillos and up to 2 liters of alcoholic beverages.

It is allowed to import up to $10,000 and export up to $15,000 in cash or equivalent in other currencies without declaration.

Duty-free import of personal belongings, clothing and items for personal use in reasonable quantities is allowed.
