In Germany, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Berlin and the Honorary Consulate in Stuttgart are responsible for issuing visas.

If you are applying for a travel permit for your private trip, you will need, in addition to the basic documents such as passport, passport photos, etc., a written invitation from your host in Azerbaijan. In addition, the embassy and consulate require a copy of the host's identity card.

If you need a multiple entry visa or a yearly visa for Azerbaijan, a letter from a private individual is not sufficient. Instead, an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is required. Your host has the option to apply for the official invitation letter on-site.

Please note that regardless of the purpose of your trip, there is an obligation to register in Azerbaijan.
