Russia expanded the list of border points for entering the country with a single electronic visa

Russia continues to develop the country's tourist appeal and economy by expanding the list of border checkpoints where foreign citizens can use a single electronic visa. Travelers will now be able to enter the country through 105 checkpoints, including airports, seaports and land crossings.

The Tashanta automobile checkpoint in the Altai Republic has joined the ranks of the new checkpoints, opening new horizons for tourists and businesses. The small village of Tashanta, located near the border with Mongolia, plays a key role in cross-border trade and tourism.

The e-visa can be issued for tourist, business, humanitarian and private travel on the official website without the need to provide invitations, hotel reservations or other documents confirming the purpose of travel. It is available for citizens of 64 countries, including Germany, and allows staying in Russia for up to 16 days.

The opening of a new entry point where electronic visas can be applied will not only simplify the border crossing process for many citizens, but will also contribute to economic growth and attract investment to the regions. Russia is becoming more and more accessible for foreign visitors, which will certainly have a positive impact on the development of the tourism industry and strengthening international ties.
