Russia has approved updated terms of stay and validity of e-visa for foreign citizens
Russia is actively developing its e-visa system in an effort to attract even more tourists. An important step in this direction was the decision to extend the period of stay for e-visa holders: foreign citizens will now be able to stay in the country for up to 30 days instead of the previous 16. Also, the validity of the electronic visa itself has been increased from 60 to 120 days.
The single electronic visa allows entry into Russia for various purposes, including tourism, business travel, participation in cultural, political and sporting events. It is available to citizens of 64 countries, including Germany, making it attractive to many travelers and businessmen.
These changes are aimed at stimulating growth in the number of foreign tourists and businessmen, as well as people coming to Russia for humanitarian and visitor purposes. The increase in the length of stay will allow travelers to plan their trips more efficiently, which will contribute to the development of tourist and business activity in the country.
The introduction of these changes is in response to the growing popularity of the e-visa system and is expected to have a positive impact on Russia's economy and its international ties.
