Investor Visa Kazakhstan

You are a manager or executive and intend to invest in a company or project in Kazakhstan? The Kazakh authorities issue you a so-called Investor Visa for your entry. You are required to apply for your entry permit at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in advance of your trip. Entering with a visa that does not correspond to the purpose of travel is not allowed.

Managers and executives investing in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan receive the Investor Visa for Kazakhstan. This type of visa is also intended for participants of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (RFCA), as well as for accompanying spouses and minor children of the mentioned groups.

Visas for investors are divided into two subcategories depending on the visa validity and the permitted length of stay.

• Visa Type C1
  for multiple entries (multiple entry visa), valid for up to 3 years, unrestricted stay of up to 3 years
  
  
• Visa Type C2
  for single entry, valid for 90 days, stay of up to a maximum of 30 days

In the case of the C1 visa, the actual duration of the visa depends on the invitation from the authorized person for investment activities in Kazakhstan, which is one of the requirements for the visa application. For the C2 visa, an instruction from the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a request from the head of a foreign representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a foreign legal entity or the person responsible for investment issues in Kazakhstan is required.
